Hello  Guys,

This is my personal experience processing the needed requirement of my employer so that they can apply us a work permit in Vietnam. (Direct Hire)

Requirements I sent to them are:

1.  Printed scan copy of my passport (every page of it even blank page)

     - My employer did not request us to Apostille this and authentication from Vietnam embassy in PH.

2.  No-Criminal Record

    - Your NBI Clearance has two copies, you keep the personal copy and give the other copy to DFA for Apostille.

3. CAV (Certification, Authentication and Verification)

    - You can request the CAV from your School. Once you received your CAV don't open it because only DFA is allowed to open the CAV.

     *Note:

If your School is a State University you can get your CAV  from your university easily, but.

If your School is Private you must bring the request from your school to CHED.

    - Once you have the CAV you can bring it to DFA and apply for Apostille.

4. Certificate of Employment (must be in 3 years work experience)

    - a. COE must be Notarized First

      b. Once your COE is notarized, go to the nearest RTC (Regional Trial Court) in your area and apply            for CANA ( Certificate of Authority for A Notarial Act ) then submit to DFA for Apostille

5. Medical Certificate

   - I process my Medical in a DOH-POEA accredited Clinic

( Pioneer Clinical Laboratory & Medical Clinic, Incorporated) - This one is located in Batangas City.

You can still use this in POEA if it is still within the validity period.

You can browse the accredited clinic in POEA website and check if there's nearest clinic in your              area.

  - Once you received the result and there is no problem, you need to apply for Sworn Affidavit (then          Notarized) since it has many page. Once your affidavit is already Notarized you need to apply a              CANA (Certificate of Authority for A Notarial Act ) in the nearest RTC (Regional Trial Court ) in          your area. Then go to DFA for Apostille.

6.  4 Pieces of ID Photos ( 4 cm * 6 cm ) 2 inch * 2 inch will do

  - White Background

When all your documents are already Apostilled, you need to go VIETNAM EMBASSY PH to apply for authentication:

If you want to have your documents get in the same day, you need to pay 2,000 pesos per documents.

* As of now during pandemic Office Hours of Vietnam Embassy PH is

  Monday - Wednesday- Friday

 ( 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm )

We are now waiting for the approval of our POEA Clearance so that we can process our OEC.

UPDATE: We already got our OEC from POEA (7-21-2021) :)

Update: Already here in Hanoi Vietnam (July 4, 2021) 21 days quarantine (Vietnam Regulation)
